Andy Cross, AICP

Andy received his Masters in Urban Planning from UW-Milwaukee. After starting work as a planner in a suburb of the Twin Cities, he joined the planning staff in the City of Highland Park in 2008, where he staffed the Design Review Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, and Plan Commission.  Andy joined The Lakota Group in 2022 as a Senior Planner, where he provides comprehensive planning, on-call city planning, and development consulting services.  He also serves on the APA-Illinois Chapter Board as the Professional Development Officer (PDO) and hosts the Chapter's "Only Planners in the Building" podcast.
